Strong take up for local investments

7th Jul 2015

A retail investment located in Hedge End’s village centre has been sold in excess of the asking price.

The two storey building located on Lower Northam Road and currently tenanted by a local charity, ‘Revitalise’, has been sold to a private investor following Primmer Olds coordination of the sale on behalf of a private client. Situated on Lower Northam Road and neighbouring national retailers such as The Co-Operative, Thomas Cook Travel Agents and NatWest, the investment achieved a yield of 6.6%, representing a strong yield and demonstrating a solid appetite in the local investor market.

This deal follows the recent investment sale of 25a Portsmouth Road, Woolston in Southampton and a Co-Operative funeral parlour in Shaftesbry. Terms have also been agreed on The Fisheries, Bishops Waltham and New Street, Lymington, where we are selling mixed retail and residential investments.
