At the early stages of a project, its financial viability will require thorough assessment in order to evaluate its cost effectiveness.
Through our instruction at feasibility stage we can assist with the planning and bidding for funding and we will work with them from this preliminary stage to ensure that the cost plan remains akin to funding requirements or budgetary constraints.
We have full visibility and up to date subscriptions to both Spons and BCIS costing information which together with our depth of historic in-house costing information from tendered and delivered projects ensures we continually forecast project costs to within 10% of the actual cost and then ensures that agreement to final account does not lead to unwanted surprises to our clients.
We are praised by existing and new clients for the openness, transparency and consistent accuracy of our cost trackers which we update at least monthly (or more frequently as project or design change demands) and provide an up to date snapshot of project budget expenditure.
As the project develops through to funding and implementation, here at Primmer Olds B.A.S we have the requisite skills to provide cost advice through to completion, developing cash flow forecasting, cost matrix and project expenditure analysis which closely monitor the actual cost against budget and in turn ensuring the agreement and closing of the final account is as seamless as possible.
In addition to the more standard cost consultancy roles co-ordinated with our projects team we also provide:
- Development and fund monitoring
- Insurance reinstatements and cost assessment
- Life cycle and PPM costing
